Jordan Blackburn

Jordan Blackburn is a recent recipient of a BFA from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as a 2016 regional winner of the BMO 1st Art! competition. With a mix of both art and design education, his most recent print work is concerned with the demystification of social histories occurring since the nineteenth century modernization of Western Culture. Jordan is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, and will be returning from a four year stay on the East Coast, where he worked as an artist and photographer while attending school. While away from his art practice he spends most of his time outdoors, surfing, skateboarding, and cycling, or at home baking very tasty bread.
