SNAP offers comprehensive printmaking courses and workshops year round balancing technical and theoretical learning, skills-based courses and professional development opportunities. Individuals can learn traditional and experimental printmaking techniques in SNAP’s fully equipped printshop and within small class settings in order to optimize hands-on learning. All of our courses are taught by professional working artists. Unless otherwise listed all materials are included in course fees. Learn printmaking from the comfort of your home or safely at SNAP Printshop! Choose between interactive and informative online options or hybrid classes that focus on one-to-one in-person instruction while engaging with your classmates online. SNAP has implemented a number of health and safety measures to protect all users and we will continue to monitor and enforce all public safety requirements and restrictions for any in-person learning throughout 2021.

We offer a number of professional development opportunities annually including regular artist talks and panel discussions, grant writing workshops, digital imaging & many other opportunities for specific skill development.
If you don’t see a course that is right for you we offer one-on-one learning opportunities through our One-to-One Instruction program to enable you to learn technical skills and complete a self directed project with the full instruction and assistance of a dedicated artist mentor.
SNAP courses are taught by professional working artists who specialize in the topics and techniques that they teach.
SNAP scholarships are intended for artists and individuals who might otherwise be unable to access our courses but whose creative practice would benefit from the instruction and technical skill building provided from taking a printmaking course at SNAP.
