Celebrating SNAP Artists & Their Work

Join us to celebrate our community and support the organization with our in-gallery and online show and sale. The Online Shop and Gallery Exhibition will be taking place between December 2 – 16, 2023.

All funds raised from this annual sale support and sustain SNAP’s exhibitions and education programming and your support is a vital part of our continued success as an organization. The SNAP Members Show & Sale is an important community event, bringing together new prints from SNAP members and the broader community of patrons and supporters.

Deadline to submit online: Tuesday, November 14th (Extended)

Artwork Collection: Saturday, November 18th – 25th

Show opens: Sat, December 2nd – 16th

Unsold Artwork Pick up:  Dec 18-20 before SNAP closure, and January 4-6 after reopening

2023 Call for Submissions

This annual event provides an excellent opportunity for SNAP members to sell their work and for the public to purchase quality prints from local artists. All sales will be split 50/50 between the artist and SNAP or 100% can be donated to SNAP in support of our ambitious year end fundraising goal. We are grateful to our members for taking part in the sale and making a charitable contribution! Works will be available for purchase at the price you set both through our website and in-person at the gallery.

Submission Guidelines

We encourage all SNAP Artist Members to submit up to five works. Multiples available of the same edition will count as one work. The event promotes the purchase of art as gifts, so prints priced between $50 and $500, framed and ready to hang are ideal. Artists set the price of their own work. If you have any questions about pricing, please contact us.

SNAP will be accepting your ONLINE FORM submissions on an ongoing basis until Tuesday November 14th(Extended). Please arrange to deliver your prints to the gallery during regular office hours between Saturday, November 18th – Saturday, November 25th (we’ll be closed on Sunday)

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Once you’ve decided what to submit, fill out this SUBMISSION FORM with up to 5 different works. Multiples of one print will be considered one work. You can also submit a framed and unframed version of the same work.
  2. This year, we have a separate form to submit images of your artwork (thanks to Google forms restrictions). If you have a Google account, please upload your high quality photos of your work using this IMAGE SUBMISSION form
  3. If you do not have a google account or cannot access the above form, email photos of your prints along with the print title to [email protected]. Thanks for your patience as we navigate Google’s new rules!
  4. Drop off the work between Saturday, November 18th – Saturday, November 25th (we’ll be closed on Sunday).
  5. Look forward to seeing your work at the Members Show & Sale!
  6. Unsold works can be picked up at the gallery December 18-20 before SNAP closure, and January 4-6 after reopening

Works must be ready to hang:

Framed work tends to sell better but work backed with matboard and clear cello-wrapped in a protective sleeve is also acceptable. SNAP does not offer framing or plastic sleeves.

SNAP retains the right to refuse any works that do not meet these presentation standards. Please feel free to call the Gallery at 780.423.1492 or email [email protected] with any questions. We look forward to seeing your amazing prints!

Images of Work

This year we are asking artists who already have documentation of their work available to supply images of your work for the online store. See guidelines below for how to upload images of your work.

If you do not already have good quality photos of your prints, not to worry – just attach a photo taken from your phone so that we can identify your prints. SNAP will rephotograph any prints as needed. Please drop off your works early before the deadline so we have time to photograph them!

*Requires google account. If you do not have a google account or cannot access the above form, email photos of your prints along with the print title to [email protected]
