The recent year allowed for assessment of the past plan, evaluation of successes and challenges, and open consultation with our community, artists, staff, board members, and partners. Together, we have created a dynamic vision for our future! Our 2025-2030 Strategic plan will focus on the heartbeat of SNAP: print and people. Our efforts and goals will be dedicated to:Advocating for Print Supporting and Expanding our Community Increasing Organizational Capacity Nurturing New Revenue Streams Sustaining SNAP’s HomeThis new plan builds off the foundations of our past five-years. The previous 2020-2025 plan required flexibility and adaptation in response to the turbulent years that unfolded. The organization focused efforts towards “Building Our New Facility,” “Artistic Development,” “Community Engagement,” and “Attracting Donors and Sponsors” while still acknowledging room for improvement with some of those initiatives. Notable successes include: Establishing our new facility and building connections within Queen Mary Park, Actively cultivating artistic opportunities with our robust educational programming for all levels and all interests, Creating dedicated mentorships with our Queen Mary Park Poster Project, Running our integral Emerging Artist-in-residence program, Hosting 3 iterations of our “Connections and Exchanges” residency, and Kicking off our inaugural “Steam Roller Printing” community event. The organization recognizes that further efforts are needed to nurture and build our culture of strategic fundraising, volunteerism, and advocacy for print and artists; all of which are core to our new Strategic Plan. We invite you all to join us in our collective effort to continue to make SNAP the inspiring and welcoming community that means so much to us all! We hope we can rely on all our community members, whether they be staff, board, or artists, in supporting our new strategic goals in the years to come.Sincerely,SNAP Board of Directors Click here to view and download the SNAP strategic Plan for 2025-2030
