Bernadette Paetz

Bernadette Paetz currently lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta. She has Bachelor’s degrees in both Fine Art and Education. She is a frequent collaborator with apparel designer Malorie Urbanovitch, creating jewellery, silkscreen prints and labels with her. Bernadette works in several mediums including printmaking, drawing, painting and digital design. Themes of gender and beauty, relationships and the absurd are the focus of her work. Humour is often an important element as well. Bernadette is extremely excited to continue to develop these themes as a SNAP Emerging Artist in Residence.
