We are so pleased to announce that SNAP has filled the Executive Director role. We are thrilled to present to our membership and community, Caitlin Bodewitz. Caitlin is a mixed-media printmaker, artist-educator, and a long-time member and supporter of SNAP. Caitlin has a great deal of experience managing her own art practice, while also engaging in educational programs, exhibitions, and public-art projects. She brings to the role a deep passion for the community, her practice, and the natural world. We are so excited to see SNAP flourish and grow under Caitlin’s leadership.

Caitlin will start on Monday, September 12th on a limited schedule for the first few weeks and will begin her full-time position in early October. While many of our members will likely know Caitlin from her studio presence over the years, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself or extend a warm welcome to Caitlin next time you’re in the gallery or printshop.

The board would like to recognize the outstanding contributions made by our interim director, Chelsey Campbell. We could not have managed to fill the ED role without Chelsey’s patient and compassionate leadership over the past few months. Through the incredibly hard work of the permanent and summer staff, we have begun to re-open SNAP’s doors to the public this summer, and Chelsey’s guidance has made this a wonderful success.

Finally, we’d also like to express our sincere gratitude to former Executive Director, April Dean, for her continued support during this time of transition.
