Queen Mary Park Poster Project 2022 – Call for Submissions

Deadline: July 15, 2022

What is the Queen Mary Park Poster Project?

SNAP’s Queen Mary Park Poster Project, now in its third year, aims to build connections with local artists and provide opportunities for mentorship and artistic development in printmaking.

The goals of this project are to foster community connection in the Queen Mary Park area, promote awareness of SNAP as a resource and artistic community, and add to the public appreciation of artistic works through the public display of hand-printed posters. SNAP is always looking to connect with and support artists new to printmaking and in particular aims to provide opportunities for emerging BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour), newcomer, disabled, and LGBTQ2+ artists through this project. Posters can be text and/or image-based, and engage with themes of community and connection, as well as express care, support, or desire for change for the Queen Mary Park community.
