The SNAP calendar is produced annually as a fundraising initiative in support of the Society of Northern Alberta Print-Artists. Founded in 1982 as a collective of Edmonton artists, SNAP is dedicated to supporting artistic practice in printmaking. SNAP maintains a permanent and dedicated space including public galleries and a printmaking studio, and provides comprehensive programming including: exhibitions, classes, workshops, lectures, artist residencies, and publishing.
The SNAP calendar is hand printed in the SNAP Printshop and each month features a print by an Edmonton-based artist. The artists used a combination of processes, including relief, silkscreen, and letterpress elements for their images.
SNAP thanks the 12 artists who participated in this year’s calendar. A special thanks to Emily Hayes for her Calendar cover and page design. Thank you to Cate Kuzik for her generous assistance with binding. We hope you enjoy SNAP’s 2024 Calendar and we invite you to visit and come print with us!
This is a preorder form. Once the calendars have been completed, we will be shipping them out or contacting you for pick up arrangements!
