Britt Dorland is a Queer, Non-Binary multi-media artist from Edmonton, AB. They find inspiration in day-to-day “mundanity” and are currently delving into what it means to deconstruct their religious upbringing, playing with aspects of iconography as it relates to personal ritual and identity. Britt’s artistic practice is characterized by an unyielding commitment to pushing boundaries and challenging societal norms. Britt’s works often explore and centre themes of identity, human connection, and ever-evolving relationships between humans and art. Through their works, they invite viewers to question preconceived notions of art and embark on a journey of self-discovery alongside them.
