Take your prints to the next level and explore the wonders of a la poupée! This technique is used for making colour prints by applying different colours at the same time to a single printing plate. Over the course of one weekend, participants will make a photopolymer intaglio plate and learn all the steps to print it in a range of colours. The workshop will cover Photopolymer Intaglio plate making, colour mixing, ink application, a la poupée wiping, and printing. It provides participants with the skills to apply the a la poupée technique to any intaglio project. As the primary focus is on a specific printing technique, this workshop is best suited for those with some intaglio printing experience.
