Photolithography is perfect anyone interested in using either photographic or drawn imagery in their printmaking practice. Under the expert guidance of artist Livvy Arau McSweeney, participants will be guided through the entire photo lithographic plate printing process over the course of six weeks with a special focus on image preparation, colour mixing, plate development, registration, and printing on SNAP’s offset and intaglio/relief presses. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of photo-lithography and its many varied possibilities.
*No experience is necessary, this workshop is recommended for beginner and intermediate artists. All ability levels are encouraged to register.
