SNAPline invites you to submit a story to our 2022 Flash Fiction Contest, with the winner and runner-up to be published this December in our 2022.3 “Fake Edition” issue. The maximum word count is 500, and your entry must take the silkscreen print Can’t we just doomsday later? by Andrew Benson (pictured) as a starting point.

Submission Guidelines:

Email your finished pieces to [email protected] with the subject “Flash Fiction Contest”

Word Count: 500
Formatting:
– Attach your entry as a pdf or word document.
– Include the title of your entry in the document.
– Do not include your name in the document as the contest is judged anonymously.
– If you submit your entry early, you are welcome to send a revised copy before the deadline ends or if the deadline is extended.

1st place:

$150 Honorarium,
Publication in 2022.3 issue, and
1 year SNAPline subscription
(postage paid within Canada only).

2nd place:

$75 Honorarium,
Publication in 2022.3 issue, and
1 year SNAPline subscription
(postage paid within Canada only).
