SNAP at 40 Birthday Block Party & Open Studio
Saturday, August 20th, 2022 12-5pm Tickets: free to attend, all ages
Continuing the festivities for our 40th Anniversary, SNAP invites all for a free, drop-in open-house style party on Saturday, August 20! Come celebrate our anniversary with a laid-back, low key afternoon of printmaking and community.
Member artists and renters are invited to have their studios open for tours, and put up their work on the studio walls for all to see! With great door prizes and lots of birthday snacks all afternoon, this open house is a great chance to come check out our new space and see what our artists have been up to recently. This will also be your last chance to check out the Anniversary Showcase Exhibition before we close for the summer on August 21st. This event is open to the public and is free to attend.
Fee: $25 per person for studio printing access
Like a regular open studio, members are welcome to come print all afternoon for a fee of $25. Artists should come prepared with plates and/or stencils to work with. Limited printing tools are available, and artists must supply their own inks, paper, tape, rags, gloves, etc. Screens and screen chemistry can be rented at an additional fee when you arrive. There will be access to a limited number of pre-coated screens during this event, on a first come first serve basis. RSVP for print studio access only by filling out the form below.
