REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 18
In this hands-on course, participants will learn a range of skills to give them a strong foundation in etching techniques from artist Alex Thompson! Over the six weeks, hard ground, soft ground, and drypoint processes will be layered to create small two-plate etchings. Featuring a selection of inking and printing methods, participants will also be taught procedures for working with the required materials safely and will be well-equipped to explore the possibilities of intaglio printmaking. Suitable for both the complete beginner or seasoned print lover, Seeing Double will offer the opportunity to experiment with imagery and printing techniques and allow the participant to create a small edition.
