By popular demand! We’ve added another weekend for folks to complete a multi-layer linocut print in one weekend using the brilliant efficiency of letterpress. Join Artist Brianna Tosswill from Penrose Press in this workshop to expand your understanding and experience in relief printmaking. Over the course of two days you will receive general instruction and personalised advice about lino carving and linocut reduction. You will experience the satisfaction of printing on the Vandercook letterpress and have assistance with set up and troubleshooting while you focus on printing. Decide to print an edition of cards or prints based on your preference. As a small group we will develop a colour strategy that works across multiple images and at the end of the workshop enjoy a group print exchange with the other participants.
*No experience is necessary, this workshop is recommended for beginner and intermediate artists. All ability levels are encouraged to register.
Age Requirements For SNAP courses we ask that participants are 16 years of age and up. Registrants under the age of 18 require a liability waiver signed by a legal guardian. Please email [email protected] the name and age of any participants under the age of 18 and to obtain the necessary waiver form.
For any participants under the age of 16 who are interested in taking a course at SNAP, please be in touch with [email protected] and we may be able to accommodate if a parent/guardian is present with the under age participant.
