The SNAP calendar is hand printed at SNAP Printshop and each month features a print by an Edmonton-based printmaker. The artists used a combination of silkscreen, hand carved relief blocks, and letterpress elements for their images and the calendar portion was printed using polymer plates on the Vandercook and Challenge letterpresses.

ABOUT THE SNAP CALENDAR
This calendar is produced annually as a fundraising initiative for SNAP, one of Edmonton’s most unique and exciting artist-run and non-profit organizations. Founded in 1982 as a collective of Edmonton artists, SNAP is dedicated to the promotion of both traditional and experimental print-making practices. SNAP relocated in 2020 to its forever home on 115 Street and 105 Avenue where it maintains a permanent and dedicated space including public galleries and a printmaking studio, and provides comprehensive programming including: exhibitions, classes, workshops, lectures, artist’s residencies, and publishing.
