In Community Residency 2025: Expand Edition

The In Community Residency: Expand Edition invites voices into our space that we are interested in centring. This iteration highlights mothers, self-taught makers, and indigenous and queer voices, welcoming each artist into SNAP for a 3-month residency. Each selected artist engages with media peripheral to print in their practice, and through this residency, they are provided the space, educational supports, and budget to meaningfully connect with a variety of mediums and expand their practice and community.

The In Community Artist Residency is made possible by the Edmonton Arts Council’s Connections and Exchanges Organizational Initiatives Grant.

Artists in residence:

January-April

Jaymie Brygidyr
February-May

Nikki Stoyko
