There exists little to no separation between experience and consumption, sincerity and farce, and authenticity has been distorted into something that can be photographed and shared, packaged and sold, bought and discarded. Jordan Blackburn is an Albertan French Canadian Artist who recently received a BFA from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was a 2016 regional winner of the BMO 1st Art! competition and has been producing work as an Emerging Artist in Residence at SNAP since September 2016.
