SNAP is pleased to present the work of Melissa Haviland and David Colagiovanni in a collaborative exhibition Music for Teacups. This exhibition includes a variety of works from these American artists, which explore the issues of class etiquette and family upbringing using a confined yet complex language. Included in the exhibition are a video and sound composition, installation of hundreds of laser cut tea cups and a 25-foot artists’ book and 7-inch EP featuring sounds from Music for Teacups. Please join us at the opening reception June 27th.
Music for Teacups has been exhibited at Block2 Gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina; 621 Gallery in Tallahassee, Florida; and HEREart Gallery in New York City. The show will be exhibiting at SNAP until July 20th. Both artists currently live and collaborate in Athens, Ohio.

Opening Reception: June 27, 7-9 pm.

SNAP is happy to provide this programming at no cost to participants.

We hope you will consider making a donation to keep programs accessible in the future.
