Making a Good First Impression

SNAP invites members and guests to the opening reception of Making a Good First Impression, an exhibition from Saskatchewan artists Patrick Bulas and Jordan Schwab. Using plate-making techniques such as woodcuts and copper plates, Bulas & Schwab find innovative ways to reproduce the images from these matrixes. Trucks, gravity and gunpowder replace the printing press in this exhibition which references pop culture and printmaking history.

SNAP is pleased to offer this unique exhibition along with a workshop with the artists the Saturday following the opening reception. Participants in the workshop will have a “hand” in printmaking, creating high-five prints with plates and paper attached to gloves for only $25.
