Tamara intends to recontextualize coping mechanisms, insecurities that come with learned behaviours and survival mechanisms. Through presenting her own coping mechanisms, she hopes to be able to create understanding, empathy and solidarity. Biography Tamara Deedman is an artist and educator based in Edmonton, Alberta. She received her BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in 2015. Her studio practise includes printmaking, drawing, installation and fibre with a heavy emphasis on photographic methods within the framework of printmaking.
