Explore ways of expanding traditional woodblock printmaking with Artist Richard Borowski. Learn various carving techniques, how to mix inks and create reductive layers. This introductory 4-week class will instruct you on how to print single and multiple colour reductive images using the printing press. This course will prepare you with the skills necessary to create your own prints and to independently use the presses at SNAP. Participants should bring a selection of drawings, images or photographs to work from. No experience is necessary. This class is recommended for both beginners and intermediate artists.
