Has it been awhile since you last screenprinted? Need a refresher or want to expand on your skills? During this weekend workshop you will receive a refresher on basic screenprinting prepress techniques and concepts, including screen selection, cleaning, coating, exposure, and washout. Afterwards explore screenprinting by using hand drawn elements and delicate imagery to create prints. Artist, Graeme Dearden will teach you proper prepress preparations and printing techniques for creating delicate imagery and successful methods for creating hand drawn transparencies. This workshop will act as a great screenprinting refresher and allow you to acquire new stencil making skills.
*This workshop is intended for individuals with some screenprinting experience or intermediate artists.

Individuals who have registered for a class or workshop at SNAP but are unable to attend are required to give written notice emailed to: [email protected] 7 days in advance of the course start date to receive a full refund. Registrants who cancel with 6 or less days notice will receive 50% of their registration fee. After the course has begun SNAP is unable to issue a refund or offer makeup classes for any days missed. Courses are run on a narrow cost recovery basis and are subject to a minimum enrolment in order to run. If SNAP cancels a course due to low enrolment, notice will be given at least 5 days in advance and a full refund will be issued.
