Learn a wide variety of printmaking techniques to apply in your classroom and teach your students. This three-day course is ideal for any Edmonton and area teachers or art educators at all levels. You will get a hands-on experience of silkscreen, relief and intaglio printmaking processes and create a suite of colourful prints. Each day learn a new printmaking process from a different professional artist to gain specific insights, knowledge and experience from a range of perspectives. You will be taught numerous techniques to modify the processes and projects to have success in your specific classroom and with your unique group of students. Demonstrations will be given on multiple ways of printing and show various classroom friendly supplies available for printmaking.
Individuals who have registered for a class or workshop at SNAP but are unable to attend need to inform SNAP 14 days in advance to receive a full refund. Registrants who cancel with 5 days notice will receive 50% of their registration fee. Once the course has begun SNAP is unable to issue a refund or offer makeup classes for any days missed. Courses are subject to a minimum enrolment in order to run. If SNAP cancels a course due to low enrolment, notice will be given at least 5 days in advance and a full refund will be issued.
