Discover the limitless combinations of monotype and craft arts. Emerging Artist in Residence, Mitchell Chalifoux will teach you introductory monotype and textile techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints and fabrics. Play with material, texture, colour, and mark-making using a fabric matrix to create both traditional prints on paper as well as prints on fabric. In this three week class use monotype printing processes as well as textile methods such as sewing, embroidery, and quilting. This class is perfect for those with a crafty edge or for those who want to dip their toes in two art forms at once!
