Explore one of the boldest and most direct printmaking techniques during this four evening exploratory class. Whether you are a beginner or have previous relief experience this class will allow you to expand and explore your skills in relief through carving lino, ink mixing, and using multiple plates to compose larger monoprints. For your experimental tool kit, Sara Norquay will teach a variety of techniques such as repetition, colour switching, jigsaw printing, overprinting, ink transparency, and intaglio with relief inking. This course will prepare you with the skills necessary to create your own prints and to independently use the presses at SNAP as well as to build on previous experience and printing techniques.

*No experience necessary.  This class is recommended for all levels.
