Cyanotype is a highly versatile process, and while it is perhaps best known as the process used to create “blueprints” it can also be used to create rich photographic prints, drawings and collages. This weekend workshop will cover a variety of approaches to cyanotype as well as in depth technical information, ranging from how to properly mix and apply the chemicals to the strengths and weaknesses of different paper stocks. Artist, Max Keene will delve into the necessities for creating a negative as well as how to properly expose and store cyanotypes. Everyone will have the opportunity to make multiple prints with numerous approaches that best suits their interests.
