Marie Winters

Marie Winters is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta’ Bachelor of Fine Arts program specializing in Painting and Printmaking. She has exhibited her work locally the province of Alberta. Her work is apart of the University of Alberta’s Printmaking teaching collection, and is a member of her local print shop SNAP (Society of Northern Alberta Print-Artistes) participating member shows and volunteering for openings at multiple local galleries, such as Latitude 53 and Harcourt House. She also was an executive member of VASA (Visual Arts Student Association) as Auction and Small Event Coordinator.

Recently her work was published in the medical health journal, Health Science Inquiry (Volume 5, Issue 1,2014, page 15.) and she was nominated for BMO 1st Art! Invitational Student Art Competition in 2014 during her final year of study at the University of Alberta.
