Brianna Tosswill Artist in Residence 2019/2020 Brianna Tosswill is an artist who expresses herself and others in print and book format. She explores the limits and unique opportunities of letterpress printmaking in her work, and is preoccupied with geometry and mathematics. She obtained her BFA in Printmaking (with distinction) from OCAD University in 2017. She is currently working out of Open Studio, Toronto, a co-operative printmaking facility and non profit arts organization. When Brianna completed her BFA she made a turn away from fine art and the goal of gallery representation, and towards the world of publishing. She co-founded Penrose Press in 2017 and all of her personal practise work has gone towards that endeavour since then.
